Congratulations to National Consumers League on its 125th Anniversary!

The National Structured Settlements Trade Association members are proud supporters of the National Consumers League, and we congratulate the NCL on its 125th Anniversary.  NSSTA’s mission is to educate and advocate on behalf of people with personal injury legal settlements to help ensure their long-term financial security, and we’re grateful to all those voices who help us spread that word.

2024 NSSTA Congressional Connect Campaign Initiative

Members of the NSSTA Board of Directors and the NSSTA PAC Board met in Washington, D.C., on Capitol Hill to participate in the 2024 “Congressional Connect Campaign Initiative.”  Over two days, structured settlement industry leaders met with more than a dozen Members of Congress to educate Congressional leaders on the value of structured settlements for injured people and their families and the importance of promoting and preserving 104(a)(2) and Section 130, our critical tax code provisions.   

NSSTA Elects New Board, Honors Industry Leaders at Annual Conference

The National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA) recently held its annual conference in Nashville, Tennessee, drawing over 150 industry members. A major highlight was the election of the new NSSTA Board of Directors, who will lead the association over the next three years.

NSSTA Joins AAPD in Support of Historic HHS Nondiscrimination Regulations

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) for Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. The proposed rule Promotes Nondiscrimination in Health Care and Human Services for Persons with Disabilities and, when finalized, will mark an incredible advancement in disability civil rights.
