Republican House Leaders Plan Swift Passage Of Trump Priority Mega-bill: Congressman Mike Johnson, R-Louisiana, Speaker of the House of Representatives, has announced plans to secure passage of a multi-trillion-dollar bill addressing immigration, tax cuts, the debt limit, energy policy, tariffs, and business de-regulation by mid-April.

As we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. this January, we reflect on the principles of justice, equality, and human dignity that he championed. The National Structured Settlements Trade Association members are proud supporters of the National Consumers League, and we congratulate the NCL on its 125th Anniversary.  NSSTA’s mission is to educate and advocate on behalf of people with personal injury legal settlements to help ensure their long-term financial security, and we’re grateful to all those voices who help us spread that word.

Members of the NSSTA Board of Directors and the NSSTA PAC Board met in Washington, D.C., on Capitol Hill to participate in the 2024 “Congressional Connect Campaign Initiative.”  Over two days, structured settlement industry leaders met with more than a dozen Members of Congress to educate Congressional leaders on the value of structured settlements for injured people and their families and the importance of promoting and preserving 104(a)(2) and Section 130, our critical tax code provisions.
